 | 24th Aug 2007 | Rhyl Miniature Railway
A visit to Britain's oldest miniature railway which runs around the Marine Lake, Rhyl and first opened on 1st May 1911. We should be eternally grateful to the Rhyl Steam Preservation Trust who revived the line's fortunes and to the enthusiasts who now run it throughout the year on a voluntary basis.

A number of visits to the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, which operates along Cleethorpes' foreshore and Lakeside. The CCLR is now one of the country's premier 15 inch gauge light railways.
Here are some pictures of the original line and the 2007 extension including some from the great gala weekend on 8th September 2007 andmy most recent visit on Easter Monday 13th April 2009.
It also boasts 'England's smallest pub' in the signal box at Lakeside which I can thoroughly recommend!

I also attended their steam gala on 30th September 2007
